Random Art Drops

I leave original pieces of art in random public locations as a reminder of the important role art plays in our lives and hopefully inspire the finder to explore ways to bring our his or her artistic spirit. To date these are the pieces I’ve left behind. If you have found a piece but do not see it here, it simply means I haven’t had the chance to add it to the collection yet:

 Drop #1. A 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ encaustic on birchwood piece. Left on 11/19/11 at an Apple Computer store in University Village, Seattle, WA.

Drop #3. A 6″ x 8″ mixed media piece. Alcohol inks, acrylic paint, image transfer, rubber stamping, and collage with attached embellishments. Left on 12/2/11 at Warwick’s book store in La Jolla, CA.
