Open Garden this Saturday!

I’m excited to announce that my garden will be open to the public for touring this Saturday, July 28th from 10am to 3pm! The tour is sponsored by Northwest Perennial Alliance (NPA). This wonderful organization was founded in 1984 and is the largest non-profit gardening association in Washington. To learn more about them click HERE to check out their website. For years I’ve enjoyed the open gardens and I dreamed that one day I might be able to give back by having my garden open for a tour. Of course every year I would say “my garden isn’t good enough, maybe next year.” When the application came to me this last November, at first I was going to pass on it again, but then I said to myself if not now, when? So I bravely filled out the application, sent in a few pics and they accepted! If you are in the greater Seattle area and would like to visit my garden, please leave me a comment and I will send you my address. Hope to see you all here!

If I were West of the mountains I would be there. We have a lot in common you and I. We need to meet for coffee or something sometime!

Congratulations for being selected for the Garden tour – quite an honor. If I lived in the area, I would stop by for the tour. I’m happy I can ‘tour’ your garden via your blog.

How wonderful. Wish I lived close so I could come see. Hope the tour and weather is fab!
