Love & Devotion

My husband, Brian & I recently celebrated our 31st anniversary. Wow! Where did the time go? Time really does fly when you are having fun, and we have been having a blast. I feel blessed to have this man in my life. When I consider that fact that there are 6,840,507,000 people on the planet, I’m amazed our two hearts were able to find one another – but boy am I grateful! I made this art piece for Brian to commemorate this milestone (happy anniversary baby!)

(hearts are made of paperclay, then painted and glued to the surface that was prepped with molding paste, crackle paint, and acrylic paint wash. Love and Devotion text printed on tissue paper and collaged to surface with gel medium)
